EM: Eclipse Magazine is a free, online publication dedicated to the presentation of new and upcoming SF talent. EM seeks
to encourage all authors by providing an unparalleled, indiscriminate opportunity to present work.
Let me begin by imposing on you, my readers, a simple, theoretical question. What is
an eclipse? An eclipse is an obscuring of light from one heavenly body by another. This
answer provides the most classical definition. However, the term may also be explained
as a loss of light, importance, or prominence. Literature is often an eclipse. The reasons
for a work's failure is usually shrouded in mystery. Perhaps, the work is grammatically inconsistent, or, in the case of
some fiction, the plot may need further development. Sometimes, the work, by no fault of its own merit, does not meet the
requirements of a certain publisher. Whatever the case, the end result can be a detrimental
blow to an author's ego. EM is unique. As EM's sole proprietor, I refuse to judge
my fellow authors' work. Thus, I will publish anything that meets two basic requirements. First, the work must have some
reference to Science Fiction. After all, EM is an SF magazine, and thus, its core audience achieves satisfaction through
that specific genre. Second, the work must adhere to the rules for Contributor's Guidelines. You can find the Contributor's
Guidelines under the Submissions link atop this page. That's it!
Authors that meet those requirements will see work published in EM.
